Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity

Members of Messiah Lutheran are actively involved in supporting Habitat for Humanity projects in Hendricks County.  On June 28, 2012, Messiah  had 13 members finish up the indoor trim on one of the 5 homes in Plainfield for single mothers who worked along side of them.  Watch for the 2013 build dates.

Messiah members have also provided donations and organizational leadership roles in supporting this ministry.  Habitat for Humanity is founded in basic Christian fundamentals and seeks to demonstrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ through love in action physically, functionally, and spiritually.  All Christian faiths join in service to provide simple decent housing for God’s people in need locally and around the world, and to help them become successful in home ownership.
